Third Party Payment Providers 

We use third party providers (like Paypal) to process any payments. We do not store any of your financial data. The third party provide might do so but will inform you directly if they do. Any third party provider we add as an option for you to pay will only be added because we trust and verified them ourselves. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

REFUND Policy


SECTION 1. RETURNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be tangible, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Typical types of goods that are exempt from being returned include: Downloadable products Services accessible online after first access has been established Discount coupons To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

SECTION 2. REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account for store credit, to your credit card, or to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. It is at our description to decide how we will process your refund (if applicable). 

SECTION 3. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable) 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us. 

SECTION 4. SALE ITMES (if applicable) 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

SECTION 5. EXCHANGES (if applicable) 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us.

SECTION 6. GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

SECTION 7. SHIPPING 

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Risknowlogy GmbH, Baarerstrasse 11, 6300, Zug, Switzerland. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

SECTION 6. DATA STORAGE
All personal data processed by Risknowlogy is stored securely in European data centers, specifically in Ireland. We implement robust security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

SECTION 7. THIRD-PARTY PROCESSORS
Risknowlogy does not currently engage any third-party processors. Should this change, we will ensure that any third-party processors we engage comply with GDPR requirements and this policy.

SECTION 8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Risknowlogy does not transfer personal data outside the European Union. All data is securely stored within European data centers located in Ireland.

SECTION 9. SAFETY PASSPORT
Risknowlogy offers the Safety Passport as a standard feature to any person trained or certified by Risknowlogy. This feature stores the name of the holder and their certificates, which can be viewed on our website. Standard policy applies for adding, updating, or removing this information. The user can request at any time not to receive a Safety Passport.

Risknowlogy has a compliance program, based on its Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct, to ensure that the highest standards of integrity are applied to all its activities worldwide in accordance with international best practice. 

SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCT, SYSTEMS, AND ORGANISATIONS AND IMPARTIALITY 
Risknowlogy is dedicated to maintaining impartiality in the certification of products, systems, and organizations. We ensure that all certification decisions are based solely on objective evidence of conformity, free from any external influences or internal conflicts of interest. Our procedures are designed to eliminate or mitigate any potential risks to impartiality in these activities. This commitment ensures that all certifications are conducted with the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and fairness.

SECTION 4. RISK ASSESSMENT

Within Risknowlogy management conducts risk assessment annually and where required in relation to specific activities or contracts on impartiality and potential conflict of interest relating to Accredited Certification business this is reviewed by the impartiality committee of the Accredited Certification Body, which is an independent committee made up of members representing our key interests. Conflict of Interest and objectivity is further covered through annual training sessions and contractually binding agreements, to ensure all management system certification activities are conducted in an independent and impartial manner.

The aspiration of Risknowlogy is to provide anyone with an internet connection access to courses from the best teachers in the world and to provide our learners the best educational experience internet technology enables. You are a part of the community that will help Risknowlogy achieve this goal. Risknowlogy depends upon your motivation to learn the material and to do so with honesty and integrity. In order to participate, you must agree to the Honor Code below and any additional terms specific to a course or program. Honor Code Pledge
By enrolling in a Risknowlogy course or program, I agree that I will:

  • Complete all tests and assignments on my own, unless collaboration on an assignment is explicitly permitted.
  • Maintain only one user account, unless Risknowlogy has approved the use of a separate user account in connection with an employer-sponsored or university-sponsored program.
  • Not let anyone else use my username and/or password.
  • Not engage in any activity that would dishonestly improve my results, or improve or hurt the results of others.
  • Not post answers to problems that are being used to assess learner performance.
Violations
If you are found in violation of the Terms of Service or Honor Code, you may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

  • Receiving a zero or no credit for an assignment;
  • Having any certificate earned in the course or program withheld or revoked;
  • Being unenrolled from a course or program; or
  • Termination of your use of the edX Site.
  • Additional actions may be taken at the sole discretion of edX and edX Member course providers.
No refunds will be issued in the case of any corrective action for such violations.

Honor Code violations will be determined at the sole discretion of Risknowlogy Members. You will be notified if a determination has been made that you have violated this Honor Code and you will be informed of the corresponding action to be taken as a result of the violation.

Changing the Honor Code

Please note that we review and may make changes to this Honor Code from time to time. Any changes to this Honor Code will be effective immediately upon posting on this page, with an updated effective date. By accessing the edX Site after any changes have been made, you signify your agreement on a prospective basis to the modified Honor Code and any changes contained therein. Be sure to return to this page periodically to ensure familiarity with the most current version of this Honor Code.
