Mutec Instruments Renews IEC 61508 Functional Safety Management Certificate

Mutec Instruments, based in Germany, has renewed its Functional Safety Management certification in accordance with IEC 61508 — independently assessed and recertified by Risknowlogy.

Recertification Achieved

Mutec Instruments designs and manufactures measurement and control systems for industrial applications. Maintaining FSM certification demonstrates their ongoing commitment to systematic functional safety management across product development and delivery.

The recertification confirms that Mutec's FSM processes continue to meet the requirements of IEC 61508 — the international standard governing functional safety of electrical, electronic, and programmable safety-related systems.

Certification type: Functional Safety Management System (FSMS) recertification. Standard: IEC 61508. Organisation: Mutec Instruments, Germany.

Sustained FSM certification is a mark of engineering discipline — not a one-time achievement.
