Risknowlogy certified the Fire and Gas System solution designed and built by SAM Engineering for the Arab Potash plant in Jordan. The certification addresses three F&G systems with a total of 31 SIFs. The certification addressed the verification and assessment of:
Safety requirements specification
Hardware selection
Hardware architecture
PFD calculation
User manual
The SIFs meet the requirements of SIL 2 according to the above test basis.
