Mutec Instruments receives IEC 61508 FSM Certificate

Mütec Instruments from Seevetal-Ramelsloh, Germany, renewed their functional safety management certification according to the SIL 2 requirements of IEC 61508.

Mütec is a provider of custom programmable electronic safety-related devices. For their clients needing SIL-rated equipment, they must follow the functional safety management requirements of IEC 61508. Since 2016 Mutec has been FSM certified.

Today Mütec received its updated certificate based on a project-based audit of the existing FSM system. Without objection, we could confirm that their FSM System is up to date and that they implement the FSM system on SIL-related projects.
