KNOWLEDGE CERTIFICATE
A Knowledge Certificate is a certificate that a person receives after attending a training class with examination. A knowledge certificate does not expire. It is valid for life.
To receive a Knowledge Certificate an applicant must meet the following criteria:
TRAINING
The applicant attends the associated training in full. You cannot receive a Knowledge Certificate without attending the formal training. See our list of training courses.
EXAM
The applicant passes the associated exam. The exam can consists of short answer questions, multiple choice questions, case studies, or all three. This depends on the selected training course.

Certified Technician
Technicians work in the “field” of a plant or factory or a train,. They are the technicians that maintain, repair and test equipment including equipment related to safety functions and systems.

Certified OPerator
Operators work in the control room of a plant or factory. The operator operate the equipment that makes the plant or factory produce products. As such they also deal with the operation of the safety systems.

Certified Specialist
A specialist is a person who specialises in a particular field of study. At Risknowlogy we use the word Specialist for those people that are not Operators nor Technicians but that are involved in the design and improvement of the plant or factory.
