Risknowlogy certified the Gas Leak Detection System designed and integrated by SAM Engineering and SMA for the Potash Arab company in Jordan.
The certification is based on IEC 61511 and is SIL 2 compliant. Three leak detection systems with a total of 31 SIFs are included. The SIFs are all carry out the same safety function and have the same design consisting of gas detectors, logic solvers, beacons and sounders. The certification addresses:
