Overview
The Project Module in Business Master (BM) serves as a central hub for managing and organizing your company's projects. It allows you to tailor each project to your specific needs by selecting and configuring the modules that are essential for your project's success.Key Features and Functionality
The Project Module offers the following key features and functionalities:- Project Creation: Users can create new projects, defining essential project details such as Public ID, project name, description, owner, and participants.
- Module Selection: Customize each project by choosing the modules needed for that specific project's requirements.
User Guidance
Creating and Setting Up Projects
- Access the Project Module from the main menu.
- Click "ADD" to create a new project.
- Fill out project details, including Public ID, project name, description, owner, and participants.
- Select the modules that best suit the needs of your project.
- Save the project, and it will be added to your project list.
Project Management
- Projects are listed in the project list accessible from the main menu.
- You can sort the list by ID number, Public ID, name, create date, and modified date.
- Project owners have control over permissions, settings, and access for project participants.
Customization
- Groups, permissions, and settings are available on account level and are copied to projects. However, project owners can adjust these settings according to the specific needs of each project.
- Groups: Create user groups (e.g., Verifiers, Assessors) and assign users to these groups. These groups are mainly used by the Compliance Case module.
- Permissions: Customize module permissions on a project level, defining who has access to specific module options and features. Detailed explanations of permissions are available in the module-specific manual pages.
- Settings: Adjust module-specific settings per project as needed. More information on module settings is provided in the respective module's manual page.
