What does the Task module do?

The Task Module in Business Master (BM) is a versatile tool designed to help you efficiently manage tasks and assignments across your projects. Whether you need to track project-related tasks, set priorities, or collaborate with your team, the Task Module provides the features and flexibility you need.
Key Features and Functionality
The Task Module offers the following key features and functionalities:- Task Creation: Users can easily create tasks, specifying essential details such as task name, description, and assignment.
- Project Association: Tasks can be linked to specific projects, enabling project-level task management.
- Parent Task Linking: Users can establish parent-child relationships between tasks, facilitating task hierarchy and dependencies.
- Responsibility Assignment: Assign tasks to individuals, designating them as responsible parties for task completion.
- Observer Inclusion: Add observers to tasks who can monitor progress without direct responsibility.
- Deadline Setting: Define task deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Tagging: Add tags to tasks for categorization and easy retrieval.
- High-Priority Identification: Mark tasks as high priority for increased visibility and notification.
User Guidance
Creating and Managing Tasks
- Access the Task Module from the main menu or within a project.
- Click "ADD" to create a new task.
- Fill in task details, including name, description, project association, parent task link (if applicable), responsible party, observers, deadline, tags, and priority.
- Save the task, and it will be added to your task list.
Task Organization
- Tasks are accessible both at the user account level and project level, making them visible across projects when assigned as responsible, creator, participant, or observer.
- Tasks are organized by project and can be sorted by deadline or responsible party.
Task Progress Tracking
- Assigned responsible parties can mark tasks as "START" to indicate work in progress, changing the status from pending to in progress.
- Upon completion, responsible parties can click "FINISH." The task is then passed to the creator for review.
- If additional work is needed, or if the task is not yet complete, the creator can return the task to the responsible party for further action.
