Didier Turcinovic was educated in France and has a degree in Electrical Engineering. He has over 27 years of experience in the process industry and safety systems dealing with the prevention of industrial incidents, accidents or catastrophes. He started his career in 1985 with Taylor Instruments in France. He soon specialized in safety systems, building experience through positions in worldwide technical and customer support at the Triconex headquarters in California, and later as a Safety Programmable System Product Manager with ABB in the UK.
In the mid-90s’, he worked as Sales Manager and later as Marketing Director at the Triconex Europe office, supplying programmable safety systems to the oil, chemical, transport and utilities industries. From year 2000 he has been working around the world as a consultant in various projects related to Functional Safety for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). He also founded the Safety Users Group, a knowledge and network platform. Since early 2009 he is a Risknowlogy Associate and a TUV certified Functional Safety trainer conducting training worldwide.
Furthermore since 2012 he is engaged with the Duchamps-Libertino association based in Geneva in a Peace Mediation program for encouraging peace in human communities and activities including professional businesses.
