Siemens level rader transmitter SIL 2 compliant according to IEC 61508

ed a functional safety analysis according to IEC 61508 addressing hardware requirements, reliability requirements, software requirements and user documentation. The analysis demonstrated that the device can be used in SIL 2 application. The result are documented in a technical report and summarized in a Functional Safety Data Sheet(tm). The functional safety data sheets(tm) hold the most important functional safety properties including SIL, STL, mode, type, hardware compliance route, software compliance route, systematic capability, hardware fault tolerance, failure rates, diagnostic coverage and PFD and PFS values.
