About the Certified Railway Verifier

Certified Railway VerifierA Certified Railway Verifier has an important role within railway projects. The Verifier is responsible for Verification plan and and its correct implementation. He or she verifiers the adequacy of the documented evidence and including, where necessary the risks associated with anomalies.

The verifier role is a requirements in the following standards:

  • EN 50126
  • EN 50128
  • EN 50129

Get your Railway Verifier competency certified

If you are interested in becoming a Certified  Railway Verifier then you need to comply with the following requirements

  1. Submit proof of formal training in EN 5012X standards
  2. Two independent references that confirm that you have/had the position of Railway Verifier
  3. Two different Verification case studies demonstrating that you where the Verifier
  4. Professional: >40 hours of verifiable Verifier project hours,
  5. Expert: >1500 hours of verifiable Verifier Project hours, or
  6. Master: >3000 hours of verifiable Verifier Project hours
  7. Interview with a railway expert

The certification process

  1. You register your intent to get certified and pay the Registration Fee
  2. You submit the above required proof for points 1-3 and 4 or 5
  3. Your application is reviewed, followed by a feedback
  4. Once all is compliant, an interview is scheduled
  5. The Certification Fee is paid after the successful interview
  6. The Role Certificate is issued and your Safety Passport is updated
